abm standard stencil BLACK is a pigmented oil-base ink, with kerosene as the primary vehicle, used for POROUS SURFACE applications. This ink dates back to the early period of our industry, but still represents a substantial part of the business, because of its low manufacturing cost. The standard ink was originally formulated for brush application, it is also extensively used on certain roller systems - see abm ink reference and comparison chart.
The abm standard stencil ink is a direct replacement for all oil-base BLACK inks, with improved performance over the competition: slower evaporation, faster directional penetration into the surface, good solid coverage.
Colored oil-base inks have a small and decreasing residual market. We recommend roller inks as replacements, as the manufacturing cost is about equal and performance better.
abm standard ink is packaged in see-through containers, barrier treated, with flip-top or Yorker spout.
Pints, Quarts, Gallons, 5 gallon pails, 30 and 55 gallon drums
